About Brew Cru

The Whos, Whens, Wheres & Whys of our Bar Business

When Jackson, the owner of Reality Group Australia, first began his Events Management business in 2014 he always dreamt of having a so-called "one-stop-shop" for all of our client’s event’s needs. This model would stop all of the hassle of finding, quoting and agreeing with multiple vendors (not to mention the logistical nightmare that is). This allowed our clients to have a smoother experience as each department (Lighting, Sound, Staging, Bars, Ticketing, ETC) would communicate with each other being in the same room instead of having no communication between different companies.

This model also saw the beginning of low-cost events, no longer are the days of having one company charge an account fee as well as hire fees, this saves money as Reality Group only charge for the cost of the equipment and any staffing to go with it.

Following on from the formation of Reality Group, Reality Photography Perth & Music Festival Group formed in 2017. During several events in the 2017 - early 2018 period Jackson built bars for private use and some people commented on the quality and elegance of the bars.

And well long story short (ish), here we are!

WARNING. Under the Liquor Control Act 1988, it is an offence: to sell or supply liquor to a person under the age of 18 years on licensed or regulated premises; or for a person under the age of 18 years to purchase, or attempt to purchase, liquor on licensed or regulated premises.

Brew Cru operates under the "Occasional Functions Exemption" of the Liquor Control Act 1988.
This exemption limits us to either of the following conditions:
Sale or Supply of liquor to up to 75 Patrons for a period of no more than 4 hours between the hours of 6am - 10pm
OR
Sale or Supply of liquor to up to 100 Patrons for a period of no more than 2 hours between the hours of 6am - 10pm

Where these conditions cannot be met the client can opt for a service only (BYO) package where the client supplys the alcohol. We can assist with estimating the required amounts of alcohol.
Optionally Brew Cru can apply for a Occasional Liqour Licence to cover the event with the existing packages, however, this requires 3 weeks - 2 months planning depending on patronage.
